The Upright Post and Transverse Piece of the Cross

The vertical piece and the horizontal piece of the cross have deep meaning and significance. The vertical piece can symbolize Jesus as the one standing tall over sin, death, and his eternal victory over them. The horizontal piece can symbolize Jesus as the one who truly unite/unify all relationships.

Jesus is the way the truth and the life (John 14: 6). Jesus is the way to eternal life, the truth on whom we feed our daily living and with whom we live a peace and quiet life.

Jesus started the revolution of love and built a “koinonia” regulated by love, love even for the enemy. Forgiveness, care, concern are the rules and regulations of this fellowship.

The world with the cross means a world fighting sin and death and marching towards fuller life for everyone and even for other created beings and things. The world with the cross means the world where everyone cares for each other, where there is understanding and where everyone lives in peace.
